Based on a beloved club attended by the instructor as a child, “Grandma’s attic” is a time for girls to come together to spend time in the company of other girls, learn some of the skills that are often lost in the busyness and convenience of our times - sewing, crocheting, cooking, letter writing, along with other fun and useful skills; a different little project and food each week. In staying true to the original club, the girls will also read a book across the seven weeks that is wholesome and uplifting, as well as fun. It’s not that we don’t like boys, or think that all women belong in a certain role, but we recognize the importance of encouraging and loving each other as fellow girls.
