Meet the Animals of Our Father's Farm: Addendum

Hi Folks!

As you may or may not remember, a while ago I did a post about the animals we had on the farm at the time: Charlie the horse, chickens, and goats. Since then, we've had some new additions, so this post is about them! I've also thrown in some updated pictures of Charlie, and the new chicks - technically the same species I had in the last post, but way cuter.

First up, Jasper and Amber!

Jasper is a 7 year old Paint gelding, that came to us along with Amber, a 15.2, 4 year old Appy (Appaloosa) Quarter horse cross mare. We don't know too much about them, except that they're best friends and Jasper is basically a giant puppy dog (he's even bigger than Amber, and so sweet!). Amber may not be staying with us forever, since we think she'll do much better with one devoted rider who has time to bring her to her full potential, rather than staying here as a lesson horse for the kiddos! Jasper will be joining our lesson program in the future though, once he's done a little more work. Here they are!

Our fourth and final horse (for now), is Diamond Blaze. She is a Quarter Horse, and is the gentlest horse soul you could ever meet! She and Charlie are our lesson horses currently, and she specializes in Western style riding. She is 11 years old, and loves carrots and rolling in the dirt. She's a beauty! See her below:

And last but not least, the new baby chicks! Well, this pictures are a little older; they're 3 weeks old now. But they were super cute here.

And that's the whole gang! For now. But we're pretty obsessed with our cute animals and amazing horses, so I'm sure you'll see lots of pictures even before the next blog post.

Oh, I promised you a few more pictures of Charlie too! He's looking great!

Next we're going to do some staff spotlights, so you can meet the humans around the farm too - they're also pretty great!

Until then!
