Event Recap
I hope everyone had a fun, safe, and restful long weekend! Happy belated Victoria Day my lovely readers, and happy first day back to work.
It was an exciting weekend here at the farm, as we had our first open house of the summer on Saturday! It was a little chilly, but the sun was out and we had a good supply of hot coffee. We had some wonderful friends and strangers alike come out, and we cooked lots of burgers, gave some tours, chatted lots, and tried out some of the new games at the farm, like bubble soccer and archery ag tag! A special shout out to all of our amazing volunteers who made it happen.
We were also excited to have KX 94.7 send their event cruiser out to visit, and we were privileged to have a recent graduate come out to do some face paint! Be sure to also check out the Flamborough Review over the next little while, as hopefully you'll see us there too! Live music, raffles, pictures on the tractor, and some friendly goats rounded out the day. Check out some shots from the day, below.
Sad you missed out? Don't fret! There's another one coming up on June 10th, from 11am to 4 pm. Once again there will be a BBQ, live music, face painting, animals, tours, prizes, and more!
See you in June.
